EMIRATES CARDIAC SOCIETY
The Emirates Cardiac Society was established in 1999 under the Emirates Medical Association. It’s members include physicians and paramedical staff working in cardiology and cardiac surgery.
The Emirates Cardiac Society promotes health education within the community, raising awareness of health issues among the wider population and establishes strong partnerships with national and international health agencies and establishments.
The society has regular scientific meetings and social gatherings. It hosts local and international conferences affiliated with Gulf Heart Association, Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology and World Heart Federation.
The mission of Emirates Cardiac Society is to educate the healthcare professionals on reducing the burden of cardiovascular disease in UAE.
Our vision is establishment of networks for management, education, and research to improve quality of life and longevity, through better prevention, diagnosis and treatment of heart disease.
